Emily's Birthday Cake
Emily designed this cake on paper, then I made it happen. She hasn't seen it yet, I hope she likes it!

Fondant Topper
This is the topper for Emily's cake - it is really lime green but this photo doesn't do it much justice!
Accents for Emily's Birthday Cake!
These are the next project now that Herky's Birthday Bonanza Party Cake is finished! Emily wants turquoise, lime, orange, fuschia, and electric purple on her birthday cake! These are a few of the accents I'm working on for her cake!

Phineas and Ferb Gang
These cookies were made for my daughter, Emily, who is a huge fan of the Disney Cartoon - Phineas and Ferb.
You can meet them one-by-one on my "cookies" page!

Before the Destruction
I know this picture is older than some I've already posted but I was just looking at them again remembering how much fun the kids had that day. Funny, I don't even remember cleaning up the mess but I remember how much laughter was spread throughout the house that day!!
Cross Country Banquet (second time around!)
Ok, so I mentioned the first banquet was cancelled, and 2 weeks later I did it all again. This is the second cake. We refilled the table several times that night! I didn't have to take ANY food home - it was a big hit!

Salted Caramel Filled Chocolate Baby Cakes
These little baby cakes are chocolate filled with salted caramel and topped with a soft chocolate buttercream frosting!! As Rachael would say "YUM-O!!"
Edible Business Cards
I finally used my edible image printer yesterday! I got it for Christmas but was so intimidated to use it as I have heard so many horror stories of images not coming out right! Mine worked beautifully! I made these great little edible chocolate business cards! Thanks, MOM!
Puffy Quilts
I made these puffy quilts for my grandma and her quiltin' posse at church! She's been getting together once a week with some beautiful ladies at her church who all quilt together. Joke in our family is don't die on a Tuesday cause grandma won't make it, she's quiltin!

Disney Cross Country Champs Cake
This cake stands for SO much more than just a First and Second Place Championship win for the Girls and Boys Herculaneum Cross Country teams!
When my 18 year old daughter, Sarah, asked me to make a Topsy Turvy Cake for the Cross Country Banquet I couldn't tell her no even though I had never made one before. (Any of you who have ever made a topsy turvy cake know how much time is involved--especially your first!)
She asked if I could do a Disney theme and without hesitation, I said "Sure!" (not really knowing what I was getting myself into! LOL)
On a Thursday, the day before the banquet, Sarah and her boyfriend, Collin, who is also a XC Runner (our #2 Varsity Runner, I might add) were snowed in with me while I was working on this cake. They were in the dining room and kitchen almost the entire time, encouraging me, complementing me, and sometimes helping me!
The number tag is a replica of the one Sarah wore the day she ran at Disney World where the heat index was well over 105 degrees. There is a blackcat around the corner ( I will get another photo uploaded at a later date), the team's mascot.
Needless to say, the banquet was cancelled on Friday night due to the bad weather. So I toted this cake to their coaches house and he made sure to invite them all over for a piece. (it weighed 15 lbs!)
That day in the kitchen with my kids will be etched in my memory forever!
Get your kids in the kitchen with you and don't worry about the mess - It will always cleans up later! The memories you make and the conversations you will have are PRICELESS!!!
